And there it is My first look at Machu Picchu on the 4th day at 7 am.... What a sight to behold and hard earned.
One of the porters. These guys carried a heavy load and if I ever thought I had it bad bad I just had to look at them. Hard working industrious mountain goats.
Some small villages along the 1st half of the trail selling there wares. YOu pretty much could buy water and soda along the entire trail. Cool I suppose but Kina takes a little away from it ya know.
The first sight. You have to show your passport and trail pass and when you cross this bridge you are officially on the trail.
Cuzco Peru. 1st day. Beautiful town with cobble stone streets and old Spanish architecture with some of the old Inca ruins thrown in. This is the plaza de Armas.. two days here are needed to acclimate before begining on the Inca trail to Machu Pichu.
